There’s a spring in the Master’s step as he finds his way back into Central Taxon. The wolves had sniffed out and sunk their teeth into the Doctor, heaving him off towards the Lady Petrana’s castle. Before he left Wayne Manor, Sol had found a shirt and put his coat back on, hiding a thin knife in the right sleeve and looking about as close to presentable as anyone can reasonably get today. There's a point to this, as he has no intention of unnecessary fucking around and a serpentine temper like his can be very manipulative when he cares to be.

Helpfully, Sol is here to educate him. He stops his unhurried approach when they're side by side, shoulder to shoulder, just a foot or so apart. It suits him fine if the Master makes those assumptions to begin with; he styles his hunt this way to save time chasing him down. Another day, maybe, that would suit him - today he doesn't have the time to spare and all the better he doesn't try running.

The drumming and the heart beats fall out of sync and that causes the flicker of turmoil on the Master's face more than anything. He draws up a facial mask when he pivots on a heel to stare towards Sol, not saying anything, just watching him.
He doesn't believe in coincidences. This close to Sol, followed by the 'discomfort'? No. That wasn't coincidence at all.
