So far all it's involved runes appearing on my skin in some foreign language and a bunch of stuff people have told me about my DNA. That I'm 'special', the 'one they've been looking for'. Whatever it is, it's stuff that only the bad guys know, and the guys on my side can only do so much to figure it out."

Well, doesn't that sound familiar. In LA her time, it was only a few weeks ago that dozens of cultists and demons and whatnot claimed Connor to be their 'miracle child' - only because he's been borne out of two vampires. They somehow got wind of him being born - which is weird in itself.

"And that's another thing. Why is it that bad guys know stuff that we don't? Jeez, it's like they have a link to those dudes doing the prophecies, or something." Cordelia huffs, and puts down her sword. "Although it's kinda cool that you have some kind of super power. Maybe it'll be... I don't know, super strength? Or the ability to fly or multiply or breathe underwater or something."

"Basically, it means that I was...built. I was made as part of an experiment to create the perfect soldier." And to save the world from the Familiars, apparently, but that was a whole other story that she still didn't understand, so she stuck with the basics. "So it means I'm like an...enhanced human. It is, and she doesn't like talking about it very often. But Cordelia's become a close friend. "Twelve, that managed to escape. But when I got re-captured, I let everyone out."
