Cassie had calmed down quite a bit after her talk with Eric and Godric and was now in what was supposed to be her home. It was well-furbished and comfortable. Except for all the weapons in the downstairs closet. That was kind of freaky.

Cassie was sitting at the counter in the kitchen when her tablet popped on to reveal the big screen full of magnified blood cells. Cassie, who was pursuing a degree in psychology, wasn't really interested in blood and guts and all that, but sometimes the magnified pictures of certain parts of the body were fascinating.

"Is that...blood?" Cassie asked, trying to remember biology.
