He'd been here weeks, and most of it he'd spent inside the Sanctuary. Going over the files Magnus had showed him on top of checking out all of the systems to make sure that they were running all right. So far he'd been pleased by what he'd discovered. The place seemed to be wired all right, and even if this wasn't where he'd expected to be, it was still his home.
Yes, there were complications. A whole new set of abnormals to deal with, all of them human. On top of that, there was Ashley. He loved her like a sister but getting used to Ashley as she was now, who had been controlled by the Cabal and now seemed okay? It wasn't as simple as he wanted it to be.
Most of all, he just wanted to stay on top of things. He was in his lab, tinkering with the systems. There were always improvements that could be made, and this was no different. Henry was so absorbed that he didn't even notice when his tablet flicked on.
"The head bone's connected to the neck bone. The neck bone's connected to the back bone," he half sang it to himself, moving between his computer and a bank of electronics behind him. He'd get the security up to what he considered a safe place, and then he'd start thinking about everything else.
