Invariably he ended up at the Central Sanctuary, as it was pretty much as fixed as fixed landmarks got. Today brought the bonus of a motorbike, which was not unfamiliar in the O.Z. but none looked quite like this. The fact that there was a young lady to go along with it was a detail which mostly escaped him. Sorry, Max, he's pretty much just interested in what's between your legs. Um.
"That's..." Glitch began and promptly trailed off as he walked around the bike. "That is quite a machine you've got there."

Max, being a little distracted, didn't notice that Glitch was there until he spoke up, coming into her line of vision. She smiled, running her hand over a handlebar.
"Thanks. I like it," she said, eying Glitch up and down. "You new here?"

"Oh, I've been here..." Figuring time with just half a brain? Tricky, to put it mildly. "Close to a month, maybe? I guess that's kinda new." And he chuckled with a shrug. "Name's Glitch, how are you?"

"I'm Max," she said, nodding to him with a smile. "I've been here for a couple months. I think."
She pulled at her collar again, trying to get some air. "I'm fine. Kinda hot, but fine. You?"

Either way, it doesn't matter, because he's walking down the street, and he sees a girl, standing by a bike. Dean is intrigued.

Not that she's not happy to see him. Quite the opposite, in fact. It was good to see a familiar face.
"When did you get here?"

"Uh, right now?" Dean replies, thinking she's talking about his approaching her. "You okay?"

"What about you?"

Though he slipped off the tram as it pulled into the station. He glanced around before shoving his hands into his pockets and heading down the road. Peter wanted to get back into helping people. Even though there seemed to be hospitals here in Taxon... it didn't look like they needed him. All in all, he was feeling a bit useless the entire day. And would of rather have been left alone.

"Hey, Max."

She offered him a smile, which faded a bit when she saw how he looked - like there was something on his mind. "Everything all right?"

"I'm fine," she said, sounding a bit irritable. Though she was getting a little tired of everyone asking her that.
She tried not to hold it against the guy, though. He certainly wasn't at fault.

"Sorry," he said quickly with the trace of a smile, "You just look a little warm, and it's not exactly boiling out here." He pulled off his sunglasses and tucked them into his jacket pocket. "Detective Carlton Lassiter." He said with his hand out for her to shake if she should so choose.

"And I am, but I think it's just the ride."
