Eric is in the living room, just stalking the network, so he hears Pam as soon as she wakes. But he takes his time going down to the bedroom and leans against the door.

He arches an eyebrow, which is eloquent enough to say 'Well, I'm here now, what do you want'.

These two could communicate solely in eyebrows. For example, Pam's say 'you are on such thin ice, mister, do not bullshit me'.

"I trust the Slayer made it home all right?" She knows she did, that would just be the dulcet tones of passive-aggressive killing rage right there. Then, pettiness indulged: "I have... new memories." Look, that's the best she can do to explain it.

He rolls his eyes at that eyebrow reply.

"I assume so. Assuming the human who came to fetch her didn't spontaneously combust." If you're going to be a passive aggressive ho, Eric will deadpan right back at her.

He's not exactly surprised by the admission. It seems most people have experienced them. "Memories of what?"

Don't you roll your eyes at Pam, Eric.

"We can always hope he did." And now, her eyebrows are saying 'You should have just killed the stupid human and been done with it'. Pam is possibly not ever the person you want assigned to a diplomatic mission.

"The maenad. That Sam Merlotte owes you a debt." Okay, she looks less pissed off when thinking about that. Anything they want-- sorry, Eric wants-- at any time. It's enough to bring a tear to a vampire's eye. "Those... small humans in my club."
