For the longest time, the half-naked man lying on the floor of the Sanctuary didn't move. But then there was a low groan, so as to prove that in fact no, he's not dead. He slowly began to stir, trembling limbs moving to push himself up. Bruce blinked once, twice, before registering his surroundings. His eyes darted around the pristine, white room, ( Read more... )

So. He really did need to get out and talk to more people. Even if it was via tablet commutation, "Pick up that tablet thing and a door should open up for ya. Least, that's how it's supposed to work. And before you ask, no, I didn't bring you here and no, I don't know who did."

In his visual, he looks like he has his feet up on some desk somewhere(probably Daniel's) while he absently plays with a yo-yo.

He started, looking around for whomever was talking. Bruce had expected someone to show up and say something, but. He couldn't see any kind of PA system, unless the pedestal with the device on it...

"The... Is this it?" he asked cautiously, taking a few shaky steps toward the tablet. He knew someone was watching him so they'd be able to tell what he meant. Suspicion was clear on his face as he examined the device, eventually seeing the image of this person. "And give me one reason to trust you, that you're not just part of... Of all this." It was hard to sound the least bit intimidating when he was that tired, but he tried. This was all too clinical - pick up the object, go through the door, find the cheese like a good lab rat.

"Look, buddy... if I was part of this, I wouldn't be here," Jack stopped playing with his yo-yo and looked mildly annoyed.

"I showed up the same as you. Minding my own business one second, then--" he gestured around, "--I was here."

"Anyway, a door should open up, that'll get you out of there. As for out of the city? I'd love to know the answer to that one myself."

Bruce still wasn't trusting this guy completely but... If Ross had finally gotten him, or anyone working with Ross for that matter, would come out and say so. Wouldn't they?

"Where is here? ...And who are you?" He was still not touching the tablet without some more information first.
