001 [Holo] - She's not impossible...just a bit unlikely!

“…Come on then, it’s just a bit further! We’re never gonna see the top if you boys insist on…” Jenny was halfway through the motion of what appeared to be climbing when she appeared in the Sanctuary, and she paused mid-climb, frowning at the empty air in front of her, looking rather perturbed. She’s dressed in a dark green t-shirt and a pair of ( Read more... )

"Your dad's a what?" Ace ignores the newest arrival until she hears those words that mean so much to her. "Did you say that your old man's a Time Lor or did I stand too close to that last explosion and lose my hearing?"

To be honest, Jenny had mostly been name dropping, when she'd mentioned time lords. Sure, her father was one, but from his own admission he was the only one. It just never hurt. She had a whole basic list in her head of governments and such she had learned about during her six months of travel she could've brought up if necessary. So when someone actuallly DOES know what a time lord is, the blonde girl looks a bit startled.

"Yes, that's what I said. He's a time lord. The time lord I suppose, really."

"The Time Lord? That's a bit pretentious, even for that lot." The Professor had told her once that his people were a pretentious bunch (which she had pointed out that she knew already) but this seemed to be taking it too far. Ace, of course, doesn't know about the Time War, the destruction of Gallifrey or the Doctor's lone status; she's from a time before all that.

Ace examines the image of the girl on her tablet; a girl who seems to be close to her own age. "Aren't you a Time Lord, if your dad is one?"

"He said he's the only one left. So, 'the' instead of 'A' time lord." Jenny just shrugged. The fact that she had a legacy like that was intiguing, but it was a past she never knew, so it didn't hurt her to think about it much. She wasn't going to get all broody like dear ol'dad.

"Ah...Kinda?" Jenny smiled weakly at that question. "See, there was this machine and they jammed his arm into it and it..." She paused, trying to remember the words for the DNA stuff. "...Well, it did some stuff with his DNA and...well...out came me."
