Now that's it's finished you can tell me what all your ideas were for the fill! I'm very curious to see how they lined up with the final product.
Thank you again for all your kind words!

I'm afraid I'm not usually in the states, I'm from New Zealand right at the very bottom of the pacific!

I love so many things about this: the initial uncertainty/panic, the logs (it's my personal theory that Mrs. Hudson was the woman who took Sherlock to the greenhouse, but I'm probably wrong), how John gets involved, Sherlock (Oh, Sherlock...everything Sherlock), and how you've transformed the yarders. Thank you for not treating Sally and Anderson as incompetent or complete dicks. And, finally, the ending, which isn't really an ending, just a new beginning. One mystery is solved and hundreds more remain.
I wish I had a cogent analysis or thought to share, but really, I just loved it. Thanks for writing.

Ooh I love the idea that Mrs Hudson was the other last survivor! I didn't mean for her to be anyone in particular but we'll call that fic-canon now. And I'm glad you liked the yarders, I admit that I actually liked Sally a lot more after tRF - even though what she does is awful from Sherlock/the audience's POV, she believes (not without evidence) that she's saving London from a criminal psychopath who nearly murdered two children, so I think she gains a lot of honour (I personally think she would make a better nemesis to Sherlock than Moriarty, since they are both in such mutual and constant conflict/disagreement by nature rather than by one party's obsessive creation as per Sherlock and Moriarty.)
Anyway, enough meta, you don't want to hear about that. Thank you again!

I loved Sherlock in this and the reason why he survived and your Captain Lestrade had everything I love about his character, so much love for the yarders and poor Mycroft at the end but I'm sure he's not giving up on his little brother and maybe Greg can forgive him for almost getting killed on his mission(I love his memory of Mycroft saving his life/career so much)
Thanks for sharing such an awesome fic and if you want to visit this 'verse again I wouldn't complain. :D

I'm glad you liked all the characters, I usually write too much John and Sherlock and I forgot how much fun Greg and the yarders are, or how much I enjoy constructing dialogue for Mycroft. I doubt I'll get a chance to continue this in the near future but maybe someone else will pick it up where left off.
Thanks again!
