"No, no, not that talk. You don't understand--" Isana sighs, fidgeting with her teacup.
"There's something I haven't been telling you, Tavi."

They're all rejected an instant later--he's not the kind to flippantly evade something unless he's the one hiding things.
"Yes, there are," he agrees after a moment in a quiet, neutral tone. He leans back in his chair a little, green eyes studying her intently. "This talk."

Great furies, but this is difficult. Damn Rari for convincing her to have this talk with her son.
