Oh, Michael Moore. How can someone I generally agree with make his points in a way that makes me want to disagree on principle?

And, UGH, Polanski. Though I'm hoping no one on 360 is going to say anything as stupidly offensive as Whoppi's 'it's not rape rape' comment.

Some giant cockface said something rage inducing re: Polanski the other night. I've blocked it out - but I believe I wrote it down.

Michael Moore is a ridiculous thing - he has important points to make. He's just. So. Grrrr. You know? I'm never sure if he really helps.

Was it the 'he's had such a hard life'/'he's made such great films' argument?

Moore is just... Half the time, his films are like a bizarre postmodern hidden camera show where there's no punhcline. And his voice-overs are so self-aggrandising.

Here it is, from last night's LiveBlog:

Brodsky loses any respect from me with the line - "What the judge did in this case was as much rape of the judicial system as Polanski's rape of the girl"

Brodsky was one of the panellists. A DA. Lisa Bloom called most of what he said 'typical Defense Attorney spin'.
