A~ah, this is such a perfect Christmas story. I really love how you managed to capture the sense of real family -- both in the flashbacks, and for Kirk and Spock.

Spock being a perfectionist in regards to placing the gifts under the tree, and noting Kirk's horrid wrapping job in the process, really cracked me up *grins*

Thank you! :D I see Spock as the kind of person who put the gifts under the tree *precisely right* and who would spend hours calculating the right formula for optimal distribution of said tree ornaments... XD
