Subliminal Messages through the TV

Jul 25, 2005 05:15

So, here I sit at 5 something in the morning, having woken up to the tv still on (some strange 1970s movie with eerie music and odd switches from black-and-white to color and back again...something by Coppala) lights on...after lying in a half-dream half-awake state thinking someone was in the room, not being able to make my body move or my mind ( Read more... )

Hey,

Hm, was the movie The Conversation? I love that movie!

I was wondering -- I have another friend with fibromyalgia and was wondering if you had anything that helped you. Is it the same as chronic fatigue syndrome???

Tea sounds so nice right now. I could use a strong cup of coffee, personally. Got in from the airport at 2:30 a.m. last night and was up at 5:30 this morning. Urrgh.

BTW, zoo called and they want an interview. Not sure it's quite what I want -- sounds like some programming, and the $$ is less than I'm making here, but I'm keeping options open... :)

Wow, I had no idea fibromyalgia was so bad. Do they even know what causes it? I can't even imagine how hard it is to deal with...

Gotta call the zoo people this morning. I've been thinking pretty hard and think I'll take this job at UNC instead. It's video stuff, which I really want, and more money. I was looking at buying a house in Texas over the last few days, but somebody bought it before I got my paperwork approved. That means that I can't get to Texas before the deadline for the next school semester, so I'm onto Plan B right now -- probably stick around here a bit and I have a lead on someone who can help me on a documentary I want to do on some of the rancher families I know back in Colorado. No great loss to not get into school, and I'm even a bit relieved. I hate school. Blech.

I love how things never go as planned. Must be Murphy's Law...

I awake to the tv on a lot these days but it is more like 2am. Days like today though was worth it since i was able to be out and about before the heat really came in. Course I am now sleepy at 1pm but what the heck.

I recently watched "the Jacket" and this evening will watch "The Machinist". Not sure how I keep getting movies that start with "the" ;)

Hey, wanna do the Friends thing on Netflix? I can send you an invitation, and you can refuse it if you want.

UPS tracking says the parts got into Greensboro this morning, so delivery here should be tomorrow.
