Okay, y'all, apparently my office goes all out for Halloween. It's been a joke around here today. Pumpkin carving contests, costume parades, catered luncheon, candy everywhere. Best of all, hardly any work done. LOL

His name is Doug Steffensrud (love the last name). He did a really great job. When he came through, he had a briefcase and opened it and had a recorder, pepper spray, those stick things to fend off people, and a Harry Potter book. He started playing the recorder. LMAO

I will! I meant to be caught up by this week, but Netflix is being a pain in the ass and not getting the last disc shipped to me until today. I don't think there's any way I can watch another disc and the five or six episodes (and hour-long too) from this season by tomorrow night, but definitely by next week. I can't wait because this is a show that needs to be shared with a group. :D

BTW... I think I had a dream about you the other night and I have been thinking of you so much lately. I'm so glad you're still with us. LOL! *hugs*

First of all I wanted to say how sorry I am that I haven't been able to read your update about the situation with your sister. I've been finding it hard to keep up with LJ lately but I didn't want you to think I just read it and didn't comment or anything. I will read it this weekend, I promise. I've been thinkin' about ya.

Second of all, my office did the same thing today. I've had 2 cupcakes and GOBS of candy, I feel so high on sugar right now its just sad. I HAVE to go work out tonight or I'll never be able to live with myself.

Actually, sweetie, it was your incredibly candid, brave post about your mom that inspired me to finally get my thoughts down. And I'm sorry that it's so long. I know that probably deters people being able to sit down and read it. I just had to get it out. Take your time, but you always bring so much comfort, so if you do get a chance to read it, I would really appreciate your thoughts, especially since I know you can relate as you've told me before.

I know. I'm eating really healthy now too, so now whenever I do eat bad things, it does a number on me, but I still have such a sweet tooth. It's been so yummy. That's normally my rule too - to work out on days that I don't eat good. But I'll work out every day this week besides today. I will feel gross if I don't get back on it tomorrow. LOL

This has been a fun day, though, and reminds me of why I love the holiday season so much. I'm so excited for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's!
