The Abbey Museum is just up the road from my house, and once a year, they have this gigantic medieval tournament and fair. I dragged my mother out of bed early so she could take me up there, because I've been wanting to check it out for a good seven years but we always miss it. Wednesday: Mum got back from Thailand. She had a fabulous time, came home burn to a crisp and raving about the elephants. Brought a bunch of dvd's home, and a cute as hell black, almost peasant skirt, plus a bunch of other little Thai knick-knacks.

Yes, the Columbin's formal was last night. It was at the Mecure, which is where we're having our formal in September. It's really pretty. The convention room where we were was kind of plain, but it looked good once it was all done up in colours and what-not.
