last night was... hell.

first i hear some thunder. no rain or wind here, just some distant thunder.

later the rain and wind came, hitting the house pretty hard.
sometime around 2am the power went out.
lights flickered like crazy, stabilized, then flickered like crazy again, ending in darkness.
laptop was still on because of battery.
...i hoped the power

Urgh, that is the worst when you can't sleep because of something beeping. If it had been me, I probably would have gone to my dad's room and tried to stop whatever was making that noise. Props to you for sticking through it!

Yeah, I would've liked to do that, but it was dark, I didn't want to annoy Dad, I had no clue what was beeping, and most importantly: he hates anyone messing with his stuff.
