have you tried logging in with the weibo app? also, I think it's possible to sign up with Italian phone number (use your parents' or friend's number, maybe? xD since you'll only use it for signing up) https://weibo.com/signup/signup.php
I haven't tried with the app because I don't have it on my phone, but I'll try to download it. And yes, if I cannot resolve this issue, maybe I could use my mom's number ^^' I hope something will work! But luckily I found other sources to get the Chronicle episodes, the only problem is that there are episodes until october, while I was able to find the recent ones on weibo...
