Yesterday - Thursday - the windchill dipped to around -30C. Then in late evening, it started to snow. Today was blizzard conditions. Still cold, though not quite like that! Seriously, between the snow falling from the sky and being blown around in gales, we couldn't see the house across the street

Very glad you didn't have to shovel out! Is your dad looking at putting the landscape people on a winter retainer? Might be the best idea unless there's a hardy teenager around looking for some extra money.

Today is bright and sunny, with a high of -6... and a windchill of -29 *unimpressed*. Supposed to get above zero tomorrow, though, and start raining on Monday.
