On Friday, one of my work colleagues sent round a building-wide email that he had a day return train ticket to Brighton for Saturday that he couldn't use anymore, going for free to a good home. I rang him about five minutes after the email went out and secured said ticket

Brighton's great. I've been a couple of times. Enjoy it every time! Check out the Prince Regent's pavillion next time. Definitely worth the price of admission.
