Well, I signed my employee contract today. Technically it's still a conditional offer, since they're not done chasing down everything, but that'll be fine, so. The only bad part? We get paid monthly. OMG. I suppose this will finally make me find some self-discipline where making and sticking to a budget is concerned? *nervous laugh*

Heh, yes, he IS a naughty boy. *g* Cherishing = Cherishing Max and Liz, which was a thread on the Roswell board at Fan Forum, where I had my first online 'home.' It was devoted to their relationship - very, *very* 'shippy - and as much as I loved it to begin with, I eventually found that it cramped me into a fairly narrow viewpoint and preferred to hang with the OTOs (Over Thirty & Obsessed), who were more gen-oriented and just more open altogether.

I've been getting paid monthly for about three years now. You do get used to it. (Though I never really did master a budget. I'm giving it another valiant try now, though.)

Yeah, I'll adjust, though I've been getting paid weekly by the agency so that's gonna be a big leap. But they have a kind of biweekly option for the first couple months (they obviously *know* people have trouble adjusting to the pay period, lol) so I've asked about that, especially with Christmas coming up fast, y'know?

I hate monthly pay!!! When I used to get paid monthly, I had two bank accounts, and half of my pay went into each. The I wouldn't touch one for two weeks, so then 2 weeks after pay day, I'd dig in to the second account. For me that was the easiest way to make the money stretch!!
