I've mentioned before that this process of weeding out belongings also stirs up memories, and then seeing someone I went to school with twenty years ago at the freaking Oscars threw a little whirlwind into that, dragging out ancient things in more detail than I would have said that I remembered them. Hee well my cousins were all boys so *I* knew they did, but nobody seemed to want to take my word for it, so I just asked. *g* And I've been known to rock that one, too.

Great essay Tas. I'm also in the category of those who wish they had been sluttier when I had the opportunities. (GOD, what was I thinking turning down all those opportunities? Can I have some of them back now?) But you gotta do what's right for you at any given moment. No regrets.

That second to last paragraph...just like me, seriously. I highly doubt I could ever have sex with someone if the trust and emotional connection is not there, but that's just me; like you, I have absolutely no problem with others choosing differently. The social stigma that is attached to things like one night stands (especially in the case of women) really bothers me.
