Heh, I forget between dye-jobs just how very nearly fluorescent the red is when it's just been done. It's always a bit of a shock - more so this time as the last time I tried a different product (that so-called 'permanent' one...riiiiiiiight :P) and it was much darker. It's sort of like my bicep tattoo: it still vaguely surprises me to catch sight

Mmmm, tattooooo. That reminds me that the yearly Columbus Hell City Tattoo Festival will be going on in June. Makes me wanna focus on getting one of MINE done this summer before I beat it for parts west. Must. Save. MONEY! GAH! And isn't dying your hair fun? Mine's been more or less the same shade of dark auburn for awhile now (what with having to be respectable and all, har) but that's also partly to again, save money. I hope to do something wild and crazy with it when I leave. Post pictures when you have it done! :D

Aw, the new dye didn't work, huh? That's a bummer. I was hoping you'd have a good report so that I can justify being a redhead again. Of course, I wasn't going to attempt it until after Dad's wedding this summer. The dress I have to wear is the color of a mai tai. Or pink grapefruit juice. Not to mention, it looks like something a girl would wear if she had to fill in for Penny Johnson at the Sheldrake because Penny needs an illegal abortion but can't afford to lose the extra money she makes doing a mambo act there once a week all sumer.

Duuuuuuuuuude! Are you going to this? I was thinking about getting a day ticket for the Saturday. (I have a running thing on the Sunday). I'm getting a new one shortly (not at the Festival) but the dude who's gonna do it will be there, and suggested I check it out. Let me know if you'd like company!

Yeah, that'd be cool! I'll be getting back into town on the Friday - leaving on my roadtrip this weekend woohoo! - and I'd love to go on the Saturday, scout out what's even available here for artists. A friend who doesn't do them anymore did my first one and my second one I got in San Francisco, so I don't really know anyone locally but I want more, heh. So yeah, count me in. If you have any specific time you'd like to go or something, shoot me an email; otherwise *peers at schedule* it opens at noon on the Saturday, so we could just meet up there around 12:30, if that works.
