So instead of a little Ziploc of wee plastic bottles, it's now back to absolutely NO liquids in the passenger cabin, *including* no bringing your own bottled water. Seriously fucking annoying, dude. Don't take any make up in your hand luggage either. I recently had lipstick, chapstick, zovirax and perfume 'confiscated'. (And Calpol)

Yeah, I knew that went with the 'no liquids'. I'm going to try to take a wee crappy tube of chapstick that I don't care so much if they take (other than the chapped lips, bah).

I kept my lighter down my bra.... *shrugs*. You can buy bottles of water in the airport to take on board, just as long as it's after security.

Narg, I best keep checking up on that myself. I think the contact lens thing is the only thing screwing me over a little bit.

Yeah you should, because this is literally within the last 2 weeks - my coworker went on vacation earlier this month and she was allowed a Ziploc with tiny bottles. I'm wondering if the difference is that she travelled within Canada whereas I'm going to the USA, though - bet it is, paranoid buggers!
