Just for irony purposes I will share - I got AFI's new CD today too. And I also did not get a chance to listen to it yet. *grins* Oh, the irony. But I also didn't try. Since I no longer have a CD player in my car I had to wait until I can load it onto my iPod...which I can now, in fact ;) However, I'll wait until morning :)

Well, the further irony...or just funny thing I suppose. You planned for it, but I didn't. I thought it wasn't out yet! And I was reading an artcle about the album in the newspaper the other day which I found seriously interesting and made me want to get it (I've never bought an AFI cd before). And then went to Target yesterday, saw it there... end of story ;)

I do however, suck, because I chose to go play at camp instead of going to see them at BFD yesterday...

*sticks fingers in ears* lalalaaaaaa I didn't hear thaaaaat...

No, I would have passed it up to go to camp too, if it meant to me what it has to you. :)

This'll make the 3rd AFI album I have, plus a bunch of older mp3s; I may pick up the Nitro retrospective one sometime but I have most of it anyway. I was finally able to listen to it today - repeatedly, lol - and shall post about it later tonight or tomorrow!

OT: Indeed I do still want to slap Evan Rachel Wood when she gets all hysterical in the video for Wake Me Up When September Ends. Get a grip and shut up!

I want to slap Evan Rachel Wood, period.

Too bad I can't check out what's wrong with your CD player. I wired my car CD player into my new car all right (I had to do it old school too, wire splicing, which took a while :-/ ). Apparently I take after my electrician father in more ways than one.....
