Since creating my LJ about nine years ago, I haven't really edited my profile or interests list at all. The tag line for it reads "Random whinings of a confused and tormented 20-something." In 8 months that will no longer be accurate

I love reading my old journal entries, even though many of them make me cringe. They're a perfect documentation of personal change over time, which only leads to more food for thought.

Another reason for my wanting to get back in to LJ is that facebook and twitter suck.

Yeah, I'll never like Facebook more than LJ. I guess I like writing paragraphs better than sentences, and I'm not too fond of apps that want to pull all your info and your friends' info just to be able to use them.
