[He'd been awake for a while already, but one look out the window had sent him right back to the sanctuary of his bed - albeit with a hot drink and a book quickly placed aside in favor of curling beneath the duvet. Still, who would have thought it, there was something good about this weather after all.

... only, now there was someone at his door.

Zelos probably wouldn't have bothered to answer, only the timing gave him a reasonable guess as to just who it might be. Surely Lloyd wasn't that dense? Yet the more he thought about it, the more stupidly likely it seemed.

And, surprise surprise...]

Lloyd, what are you doing here?

Huh...?

[It was a little weird seeing Zelos looking so... well, it looked like the redhead had only just gotten out of bed a bit ago. It was unlike him not to want to look his best... of course, Lloyd supposed he didn't really count among the masses of people Zelos wanted to keep impressing, or whatever it is he did. Still, he was usually dressed by now...]

What do you mean? What are you doing still undressed?

No, what do you mean? Have you even looked outside? [Then a shrug,] Of course you have, you had to go through that to get here. You think classes are still on with the weather this bad?

[He feels like he should be annoyed, but instead he's kind of amused.]

... ... wait, what? They canceled classes because of the snow?

[First, he was downright surprised - he'd never even heard of something like this before back home... though he supposed it had to have been different in a rural area like that. But still, no school...?

The surprise was rather fleeting.]

... oh man, I wish I'd realized. I would have just gone back to sleep!

[... Why had this seemed like a good idea? This is Zelos, brooding some. And being very, very careful not to slip.]

[Back inside now, Lloyd's stripped off significant layers, leaving him in his black undershirt and baggy pants, with white sock-clad feet. It's welcome considering the frightfully cold weather outside, that's for sure.

He walks out of the bathroom, rubbing his face with the towel one last time before heading over to where Zelos is - he might need the towel, too, after all.]

[And Zelos can't quite resist a soft smile for a moment there - not even sure why, except that maybe it's nice to think of Lloyd being this comfortable in his company. But they are friends now, aren't they?

Whatever it is, it feels a bit awkward to him, and Zelos makes himself smile broader just to feel more like his usual self - though waving a dismissive hand at the offered towel. He glances toward the window, though, and before he really knows it his smile's growing softer again as he remembers their conversation from a few days ago.]

That actually was pretty fun.

[Lloyd can't help but follow the redhead's line of sight to the window, watching the snow for a moment as he drapes the towel over the back of the couch. Besides the snowballs to the face, Lloyd supposed he had to agree... and he was rather pleased with the look on Zelos' face.]

That's what I like best about snowstorms. That fresh, powdery snow is really great for playing around in.

Yeah... [He walks over to the window then, leaning slightly to look out across the fine white view.] And the way it just covers everything. It's like a totally different place out there.

[Glances back to Lloyd.] Much better than classes, right?
