There are few expensive items I want in my life. I try not to define myself as a material possession person, even though I know that, due to being human, I most definitely am. However, I make it a point to not be (or at least try not to be) too concerned with looks or clothes or money or jewlry. I'm big on sales; spending money is hard for me.

someone told me you're one of the best new writers on the staff this year! and DO THE COLUMN. i did it my...sophomore...no, junior year & usually its reserved for freshmen...but it was really amazing. so much fun. write something...dare I say..."fluffy." But make it funny. Make it cute. You'll have no trouble with doing that. I'm glad you like journalism so much!! Now go sell adds! LOL

I have no clue what to write about for the column-- my mind is absolutely blank! I feel so lost! I do know that I want to try it. Even if I don't make it, I could just reapply next year.. and then in senior year... maybe they'd feel pity on me one day. ;-)

I had the EXACT SAME problem...i had no idea what to write about. pick something you can make fun of. something little, relavent to Grove City alone. or something you think is funny or cute. or something that totally annoys you. i honestly can't even remember what i wrote about...but add lots of wit. DO IT i'll be sad if you don't . haha.
