What grade are you going to be in? Ooh, and I also have Spanish II this year. I took Algebra II last year. I don't think it was that hard, but a lot of others did.
I'm going into tenth grade. Sophomore year, I have arrived! I didn't really mind being a freshman, besides the fact that everything I did was new. Building, band camp, assemblies, lunch, stairways... everything. I'm glad I'm going to know more of what I'm doing last year and I won't be so surprised.
Algebra I wasn't really an awful subject for me, but I was glad to leave it. However, after a year of geometry, I'm realizing how much I missed it. I'm a bit nervous about the fact that I have Mr. Lego, because the typical Algebra II teacher is Mrs. Miklos. I hate the fact that I'm kind of segregated from everyone else, because of a different teacher. It makes me a bit nervous, but if I have to search out a tutor somewhere, I totally will. Same thing goes for chemistry. If I need a tutor, I'll be recruiting in a heartbeat. I refuse to fail a class.
Mr Warner is a crazy psycho. Don't take anything he says seriously. Watch Katie, she's the Editor in Chief. If she rolls her eyes, he's joking. He hates Bush soo freaking much in an obnoxious way. Don't be scared of him b/c he's pretty much out of it and anything the editors say overrule him anyway. He values his AP class over everything else. Um...journalism will seem overwhelming at first, but write your drafts REALLY WELL. If don't slack off during the fake drafts at the beginning of the year, editors will want you in their section & you'll get a good position for next year. And if you're not sure about something on the computer, ask. It's better to ask then get it wrong and people will have to fix it. haha
IF YOU NEED ANY JOURNALISM ADVICE you can always comment me. Last year journalism was my life and i LOVED it. i'm sure you will too. you're a good writer so if you just work hard it will be eassyyyy
So, basically disregard Mr. Warner completely? The fact that you call him a crazy psycho scares me a bit, because I'm scared he'll flip out at me for something or other one day, and it will all be downhill from there. I don't want to be on his "hate list."
Is Katie nice? I know those editor types (okay, I actually don't), and they seem intense. Or, ya know, I could just be stereotyping and comparing everyone to Paris from Gilmore Girls.
God, the more I think about journalism, the more butterflies I get. I get kind of freaked out that my writing won't be up to par. But I do tend to underestimate myself, so perhaps I might not be as awful as I think.
Yeah. He'll pretend to be mad at you for something & he won't be serious. He doesn't really hate anyone; you'll know when he's actually mad. Half the time he has no idea what he's talking about anywya.
Katie is sooooo nice. We're really close friends. So mention me & she'll love you. Seriously. haha. She never gets mad in front of the writers, just turn in your drafts on time. I don't think anyone is really "intense" about journalism. it's mostly fun.
I've read you're writing before & I know you're going to do great. Like I said if you have problems lemme know. haha. I have connections.
I love school-- halfway through summer vacation, I begin to long for it! I've loved it ever since I can remember, but it's not for everyone.
It definitely wasn't for my brother. He's being home schooled now through cyber school, and it couldn't be working out better for him. He loves it!
My sister kind of goes through the works of school. She's average, and totally loves the social aspect of it all. =P
But I'm a school fanatic. I remember when I was younger, before I began getting homework from school, I would make up assignments and give them to myself to complete. I couldn't wait until I got homework. And school supplies... don't get me started!
God, I love school. I feel a bit abnormal talking about it, but oh well.

Yeah, I'll stick with that.
