Very nice. I don't see much Ryuuken POV fics and this was just brilliant. You should write him more often.

Thank you. I'm actually surprised there's such a lack of fic for him, considering his dynamic with his son (and Isshin) is just begging to be explored.

That means a lot to me. I hadn't wrote him before, but just from reading I get the sense that he does really love his son.

Beautiful. Short, but sweet as they say. I like how very subtly it's obvious that Ryuuken does love Ishida in his own cool, reserved way. Their dynamic has to be one of my favourites in the story, however briefly shown. Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you! I think they are sort of adorable in their interactions, and I hope that their relationship is expanded upon (what made Uryuu move out, etc) in canon.

I'm actually writing moar Ryuuken later today for scarletseraph. ^^
