In my high school, in 11th grade we had a choice to take either Calculus or Business Math. I took the latter b/c I knew I would flunk Calc. lol Anyway, in B-Math they taught stuff like how to balance a checkbook, understand interest rates and basic stuff like that. But I wish there had been a class that taught us how to do things like, "How to buy a car" or "What you need to do to buy a house" etc.
cool, definitely never offered anything like that in my school. just glad i have smart parents! buying a car and a house are good ideas too, they're also something you either learn from your parents, or if they don't know either, you're screwed!
