clothes shopping rant

i've determined that nearly all of the clothing that's out now totally sucks. can i please get a shirt that isn't cut in a way that makes me look pregnant? what's up with that really? i'm relatively thin, i certainly don't have a big belly but somehow they managed to make shirts that make me appear to. that can't be good for girls who actually do

Ugh, I hate shopping. I have the same prob as you -- it's either like super trendy-ugly or it's old-lady stuff. :-( Even finding simple basics is hard. I went ALL over trying to find some tank tops in bright colors -- the stores only had the shittiest colors like faded red, olive drab, craptastic blue. I just ended up getting a black one, but I wanted some super-bright colors so I could wear it under or over other things. Ugh.

I know when I finish losing weight (25lbs to go, woo!) I will have to buy lots of new clothes and I'm totally dreading it b/c I know it will be such a huge pain in the ass.

the only place i've been able to find basic tank tops that aren't cut funny in bright colors is h&m. and that was actually last year and the year before so i don't know if they still have them. for a while, they were getting new colors each season so i actually have 10 of the same tank top in different colors. i wear them literally about every day (i'm wearing a turquoise one now lol) and they only cost $5.90 each!

I'm going to have to check there, thanks! I like wearing really bright ones under or over other things. I tend to wear a lot of black so it's nice to have some fun colors other than my hair. lol
