tbh, I mostly agreed to go because I felt bad for not going the last time my mom went, three years ago.
I also thought I'd make an extra effort to get to know a few of my relatives there, and see my grandparents before they pass on.
it's only that now when it's hit home how far away from my comfort zone I'll be, I don't wanna go.
I won't go until june next year so I have a while to digest this, but thank you for you well wishes (man, the internet withdrawal is gonna be horrible is just know it!)

I can see why you don't want to go, but at the same time I understand that your mum probably want you to get closer to her side of the family.
Maybe the trip will be a positive surprise, though!
