I was a bit unsure if there actually was a book for this opera so I checked it out turns out there isn't though there are a few books that have been inspired by it.

that and that theres an Ingmar Bergman version of the same movie that I just, missed. (why watch the movie by the director who's resume is the length of both of your arms when you can watch the one by the director you know nothing about *headdesk*)

I like my version better, it's got more angst ;P
