It really wasn't fair, that's what it was. When you asked girls out on dates, they were supposed to either say yes or no. Well, they were supposed to say yes, but that was excepting the enjoyment they often seemed to take in shooting down interested parties.
Either way, what they were NOT supposed to do was put these sorts of conditions on it. Putting on his best wounded face, Naruto tried again. Sakura couldn't really be this unreasonable, could she?
"Come on, Sakura-chan. Any other one you want. ANY other one. Just... not that one!"
Crossing her arms over her chest with an irritated scowl, the pink-haired kunoichi stuck out her chin and fixed veridian eyes on the blonde.
"NO. I want to see THAT one, and we're going to THAT one, or I'm going home. And I mean it this time if you really care so much more about your image!"
Finally giving in to the inevitable, the Kyuubi jinchuuriki gave a disappointed and martyred sigh and turned back to the ticket stall at the cinema, pulling out his wallet.
"Fine...."
Handing over a few bills, he swallowed hard and fervently hoped that no one of any import would be anywhere in the vicinity as he uttered the fateful words.
"T...two tickets to....My Fair Lady... please."
