The Dark Knight and Flat Tires

I watched The Dark Knight last night with my sister (who celebrated her birthday) and househelp.
Best film ever, hands down. You can't really take a non-movie buff's word, so I suggest you just watch it. The storyline is nothing short of amazing, not your ordinary superhero flick, and unbelievably deep. The characters are just, three-dimensional, ( Read more... )

Dark Knight was fun, ne? (And Gotham's White Knight was sooo... All-American he was a cliche, though a tasteful one.) Although I did get OD'd on it, having to see it twice in one day, and once more a couple of days later for good measure. Oh, well, the movie was good, and the company, while different, was exceptional every time, so why complain? I think the worst thing you can do is see a movie alone. I've never gotten around to trying it yet, but I figure any movie I wanna see has to be shared, and it might be a lonely, lonely experience.

As for driving, sadly, it's true. Every woman who drives must know how to change her tires and check the oil at the very least. Which is why I am an assiduous commuter and cab-taker, not to mention a polite shotgun-rider, but never EVER a driver.
