Maybe I haven't been watching enough news, but I can't say that these "top ten myths" match what I've been led to believe for the most part.

Perhaps #6, but more in a sense of not having a cohesive plan/solution/answer, whereas the author of this article only really seems to argue they're united in complaining about the same situation/problem.

Oh, yeah. The Right is having an absolute meltdown about this, doing everything it can to make the protests look bad. It's downright sickening. A few specific comments, though:

on #3: Really? Considering how much of poor population in the U.S. are minorities? How would you expect there NOT to be minorities involved (especially in a diverse city like NYC)? And anyway, since when does racial mix determine how 'legitimate' a protest is?

#4: we have goold ol' Herman Cain to thank for that. Apparently exercising the First Amendment is 'anti-American' /rageflail

on #6,8: there was an article on Yahoo! earlier this week that stated most of the protesters do indeed have one universal gripe: the incestuous relationship between Big Business and the government. I have to agree with that sentiment 100%: Washington runs on the opinions of the 1%, not the 99%. Everyone in the U.S. should be furious that greed is circumventing our republican form of government- the U.S. is not so much a democracy anymore as it is a oligarchy.
