She was bored and didn't know what else to do with her time, and she didn't like going to bother Hayley every single time she was bored even if she was pretty sure Hayley didn't really mind it. Hayley bounced up to the fifth floor and down the hall to knock on Elle's door.

She had had a moment of brilliance. Really.

"It's open!" Elle called, glancing up and wondering who it was.

Hayley didn't so much open the door as fling it open and bounce it.

"I'm takin' you to the homecoming dance!" she declared.
