Confession: I get a bit Clex-schmoopy around the holidays!

Title: Simpler Times
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Plot: When Vandal Savage sends Superman back in time, he ends up in Lex's past. Will Clark be able to find his way home in time to save Metropolis?

Awww! Love that something good came out of Savage's plans, Lex needed that one good memory. The kisses on the forehead were just too sweet, too. Now, I shall go and let my mind playout the next morning. ;D

This was so lovely. I love the way that Clark protects Lex without any thought at all, how he can still see *his* Lex in this schoolboy and in the grown up Lex, how he kisses Lex before he leaves, how Lex, even scared, can't help but flirt with Clark (and who wouldn't? Clark is so beautiful).

I've been distracted lately but by the great love affair of Dean and Castiel from SPN. Thanks for the reminder of my very first OTP.

Aww, this was great. Absolutely loved it. Love the idea of Clark going back and protecting young!Lex at Excelsior. And then the ending was just great.

This was wonderful. I liked the blending of the Comics and SV canons, and I loved how Savage's plan was not only foiled, but that Lex and Clark gained something good from it. You describe a horrible time of it for poor Lex - it's only amazing that he survived the experience as strong as he did. Clark keeping Lex's spirits up in the cafeteria, and protecting him in the courtyard and his dorm rom were heartwarming. Just a great story.

It's a bit of wish fulfilment, having Clark swoop into the past for a rescue (and cuddle Lex in a dorm bed!)
