I totally have to ignore the implication of Chuck = God thing, for all the reasons you stated there, far better than I could've myself. I didn't even want to touch it with a ten foot pole wrt how messed up that "twist" means in context of the show. Outside show canon, I just find it so disgusting. Stop stroking your dick, Kripke. That's why I can't find it all that cutesy or affectionate or whatever, but it smacks of this guy getting so high on himself because there are 5000 fangirls going ILU. Egocheck in Aisle 1, please

I can see your point about Lisa, to a certain extent, but what I don't understand is asdlkfjadsljkf how does that make any sense? Who thinks, "You know, I'd love to have a happy, domestic life in suburbia somewhere. I'd better look up that chick with the kid I haven't seen in two years. What was her name again?"
I just -- I don't even. I know they're messed in the head, both of them, but come on.
It wouldn't have felt so out of left field for me if they'd hinted, even vaguely, that Dean had been thinking about them previously.
Bah, I don't know. I'm kind of at the stage where I want to punch everyone in the face. Except Crowley.
Hilarious side-note: Bobby Singer's soul is still forfeit! Good times.
Hm. I think it does though. Dean doesn't have to start from scratch. Lisa is like this pre-packaged deal. She seems to care for him, she has a house in suburbia, a boy child to dote upon. No need for set-up! Just get invited in and you're set. There is absolutely nobody else in Dean's life that we've seen on the show so far who's remotely got that going for them, so I can see him gravitating toward the closest thing. And that shows just how messed up he is.
I think the WORST thing to make no sense is Lisa taking Dean in, not Dean going to her.
Crowley is MADE OF 10 BILLION KINDS OF AWESOME.
LOL, I love how they didn't resolve the deal with Bobby, but I don't care about Bobby (boo hiss blasphemy, yes), so that's some good lulz.
You're right, it makes even less sense that Lisa seems somehow okay with this. She doesn't have decades of emotional abuse clouding her judgment. If anything, I hope that its their relationship breaking down and not her Horrible Murder By Monsters (tm) that sends Dean on the road again. Every once and a while, I like to pretend this show is actually realistic.

I love Crowley. If it wasn't for the fact that superpowered!Cas would probably wipe him off the face of the planet, I'd pay good money for a Cas-and-Crowley spin-off of hilarious, odd-couple proportions.
Now I'm kind of torn about seeing Cas again. My kneejerk reaction is "Yes, of course I want to see him again" but it really is only if they use him properly, a la Season 4, and not like they've been doing with Season 5 (which, ITA, has really sucked).
I did love everything about the Impala's storyline, though. And the cheeky voice overs.
