While the cat's away...

crimsonquills has been out of town for the last few days having what I can only assume are uproarious adventures, so I've been forced to entertain myself. It's been surprisingly effective, all things considered. There has been TV and Arkham Horror and all manner of other things, that include:

  • Buying shoes that are both nerdy and awesome and have, somehow, ( Read more... )

tv: chuck, state of the me address, tv: supernatural, tv: sports night

Yeah, I finally broke down. I don't think I'm going to buy any games for it, at least not initially, but I really love the idea of the Wii Fit tracking my progress, so...

Yeah. We'll see.

Hahahaha, you SAY you won't buy any games NOW.

And now that I've finally watched SPN, I can comment on your comments.

CASTIEL. AF;DJAKFLDJ;SALFKDJSAFD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. He was endless lulzs. Endless endless lulz. Though yes, this was a gross episode. But Castiel. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Agreed on the not-cool with the implication that Jimmy is still kinda alive in there somewhere. Meh. I was happy with the idea that Jimmy is eating burgers in heaven.

Caaaaaas. He makes me happy. *_*

But yeah, the more I think about it the more I >:( about the Jimmy reference. At first, I tried to explain it away as Cas simply referring to the needs of his physical form ("Jimmy") which, so far as he's concerned, still isn't really his. Except that Famine was pretty clear that he causes a hunger of the soul, so to crave meat Jimmy's soul would have to be in there really wanting a cheeseburger.

Which is >:( >:( >:(

Dammit.

Buying a Wii and a Wii Fit Plus Balance Board. Um.

LOL I SO used one of those for a good year and a half... and uh, I got lazy. XD But it is totally cool and worth it and I think you CAN do decent aerobic exercise on the wii fit.

I'm going to try to incorporate it into my daily routine. Sure, it'll probably be pretty Mickey Mouse, at least at first, but anything's better than what I'm currently doing (next to nothing). And it's capable of guilting me into submission tracking my progress.

Here's hoping. I'm optimistic, anyway,.

HAHAHAHAHA. The progress tracking was motivational at first but when it didn't move anymore I was like "screw this stupid wii fit!" lol. It didn't help the stupid wii fit board icon thingy on the screen kept calling me obese. XD XD XD

Haha, yeah. Watching my little Mii suddenly gain 100 lbs isn't the most inspiring thing I've ever seen. But still! I'm having fun.

Now if only I could eat myself from eating the chocolate that's been inconveniently left right next to me. I want my weight to go down! But -- chocolate! The eternal struggle.

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to knit for the Ravelympics. Or, rather, I'm kind of committed at this point, because I'm out of town (again) and all I brought with me yarn-wise is the material to start knitting the Anemoi mittens.

We'll see how that goes...

And you now have a Wii! That's awesome! Expect to receive drive-by game recommendations as time goes by (and if you ever get tired ofe Wii Fit, I can recommend some other exercise "games" that have received wide acclaim).

(I still need to catch up on all kinds of television, including White Collar and Supernatural -- and to aid me in this endeavour, I've now figured out how to put torrented television on my iPod! Now if only I could find my iPod...)

On the road again? Yeah, I can see how that would tie your hands a little, but I really like the Anemoi mittens pattern. Hopefully it shouldn't be too arduous.

I actually kind of forgot about the Ravelympics. The next pattern I was intended to complete was the Red Emperor stole, but I think I'll probably need something less... involved. :P

Thank you! I'll always take drive-by game recommendations, exercise games included. I'm hoping Wii Fit will hold my interest, but you never know...

Jeremy Goodwin!

How about "Going Through The Motions" by Aimee Mann?

...and if you tell me which episodes Hannah's in, I'll see about watching those. Because hearing other people say my name never gets old.

Jeremy is just *flail* and puppy and... yeah. Um.

Buffy's version is more apt, but it'd do. ;)

Hannah's so far appeared in 3x05 to 3x07, but will likely be in 3x08 (airing March 1) and however many episodes her guest star stint lasts as well. ;)

Discovering that, no, I don't have the self-control to enter a candy store just to browse.
Anyone who claims they do lied lol.

Shaw kind of looked evil when he rubbing Sarah's back, I was like IS SHAW REALLY EVIL?! He's kind of to cheesy for the show, and it's a cheesy show so maybe he would be better if he wasn't going overboard on the cheese front lol.

Oh, Shaw. Yeah, I don't think he's evil, but the guy really is... I don't know, I look at him and I don't see a human being. I see a Ken Doll that's somehow come alive and is talking and why is he here?

Which is really unfair. But yeah, he tends to be a little too ridiculous, even by the show's hilariously low standards.

Shaw, I want to like you. Somehow. >:(

lol, he was slightly better in Superman Returns(which is a bad movie BTW. And they spent way to much time showing slow motion flying and things like that).

Weirdly, I really liked him in Superman Returns -- comparatively speaking, at least. It helps that he isn't supposed to be human. ;)

But then, I mostly watched that movie for Parker Posey (so much lol).
