Aww, I'm sorry! I'm not trying to be mean, I swear. It's just that if I break it down into chapters in order to edit one last time/code in the italics/add pictures, it makes it less of a pain in the ass. ;)
Which is to say, I really like this series
Thank you so much! :) I'm glad you like it.

Peter tries so hard, despite being a big ball of insecurities.
And Henry, with the sofa, and with the humanity, and oh -
He's trying so hard, too, not to fall entirely apart.
I love your Henry.
Thank you! That means a lot. <3

I think he was faking it more than actually dealing, but...yes. It didn't help that he liked the couch a lot.
and I hope those kids can keep a secret!
I went back and forth on that--would Peter tell them? But I really do think everyone knows everything about everyone at the X-Mansion. And if Peter's going to be part of the family...

I loved how Peter was bombarded with questions from kids and especially the one about him being Spider-Man. It was a little surprising that he told them that he was. I really liked that Bobby asked Peter if he ever wanted to play basketball sometime, nice job there Iceman. The end of the chapter was definitely like something Peter would do. After everything that happened before he left, he just had to laugh about it.

I think it would be incredibly hard for Hank, at first. I mean, have you read the issue of Astonishing I mentioned in the notes? It's heartbreaking. But luckily, he has a sense of humor to match his size, as is apparent in later chapters. :)

That was fun to write. "Do you know Batman?" makes me laugh. (Though I guess it's a valid question; I haven't decided if the DC universe is "real" or not, in this 'verse.)

Well, two things influenced his decision, here. One, he now considers the X-Men sort of family. The kids are part of that family, even if they aren't team members yet. Secrets don't last long in the X-mansion. For another thing, he considers them pretty harmless. I don't think he'd be as likely to tell non-mutant kids in NYC, though!

Re: the "no such entry" thing...weird. It works for me. LJ has been screwy lately, though, and I've had Issues recently because I did the option to friends-lock my entire journal, then have been trying to unlock fics...but half the time, it won't let me. *pokes LJ with sticks*
