What was amusing was that it was hot and I was laden with things to keep me entertained and supplied for the entire day (my computer to catch up with clients and friends, the ones I didn't run into unexpectantly), my umbrella in case of rain, my make-up (just basics), sunscreen (a big bottle), a Tarot deck and a journal (which was an accident but ended up being useful for paper to take some notes for my client). The above was split between a tote bag and a purse.

Then I added a plastic bag with my mail (two small packages and catalogs), a new hardback book, eyeshadow, and at the end of day I bought a very pretty handcarved box from a global fair trade store called Ten Thousand Villages. Beautiful and being wood, a bit heavy. I certainly had an adventure! With the weather and my accessories, I really could have used a camel.
