Spent the rest of the weekend finishing Winter Sonata. A reviewer said it best by calling the mini series "bittersweet." Despite the recycling of the plot over and over within the series, it was overall fairly good. It's become a classic in Korean drama. Graphic Intensive here and there.

i didn't enjoy this show very much.actually i didn't really like any of the 'four seasons' drama. too draggy and the storyline are always so tragic and cliche. > < love the songs though so am taking the soundtrack. thanks~

Cliche was the perfect word I was looking for. They could have done this drama a bit better, I think. But they chose to go with the sad theme, which bothered me a lot too. So the other season drama are just as bad? I was really hoping there would be some variety. The music IS beautiful at least, hope you enjoy the soundtrack!

yeah, all the season drama has this tragic theme to it.

not too sure how spring waltz ended but i heard that drama is boring. > <

Autumn was what started me to watch k-drama so it has a special place in my heart. but if you ask me to watch it now, i would say no because it's your typical depressing k-drama.

watched parts of summer. didn't enjoy it because again, it's all very slow and depressing with heart disease. my god, come to think of it, i think 2 out of 4 of the season drama has heart disease. at least winter does not have a terminal illness. or is there? can't remember already

XD Winter Sonata has a slight illness bit at the end, with the guy having to leave Korea for surgery. Otherwise, the ending would have been much better, because they finally got together, away from their other previous lovers, and they also realized they weren't siblings.
