Cinnamoroll

(+____________+) Ever heard of Cinnamoroll?? It's another one of those really adorable characters created by Sanrio, to attract those who are easily duped, like me. Cinnamoroll has the MOST uh... amusing? commercial I've ever seen. Click here, scroll down.

The EARS. And it's so FLUFFY and WHITE. I'm such a sucker for these things.

XD That never stopped me before... although I think I should probably stop, since I'm not a teenager anymore (let alone a child). I can't imagine what will happen if I have a daughter in the future. I'd probably spoil her rotten with all those adorable items until she gets sick of it. :P

AHAHA I know I can always count on you to find the weird yet cute crack. That cm is really addicting. I watched it five times in a row. >.>;; The design looks a bit similar to a couple other known toys though, except for the cinnamon roll tail. xD;;

I just... get pulled to those things magnetically. >.>; I even went as far as to save it to my hard drive, in case I ever need a laughter boost. Many of those "cutesy creatures" are more or less similar, I agree. My guess is, it's all targeted towards the same interested groups, so why change what works? My sister received a Cinnamoroll nuigurumi and it's just the oddest thing. It's head is enormous, but it's body is barely a third of it's size. =_=; I have a not-so-secretive secret love for those type of things but I can't help but wonder how on earth they came up with those type of things.

I have an unhealthy love for cute-and-strange things too, but they don't usually get my attention unless they're different from the average. xD;; I think the Japanese (and perhaps other Asian cultures) really like the idea of food items coming to life as cute toys and plushies or characters, etc. Just think of this Cinnamoroll, then we have Kogepan, and those kittens as food items that I can't remember the name of, and many more I can't think of at the moment. Of course I usually like them. The more bizarre, the better. ;D

Babble all you like~ I don't mind. <3

The food thing? Oh definitely, I notice it too. XD I had a "fan of" moment with the food kittens (Nyanko??) as well.

The more bizarre, the better.

LOL~ While I agree with you, I find that it depends who you ask. >.>;; <- has gotten strange looks before.

Cinamoroll is adorable. Have you seen the new rabbits? I think they're called Shirousa and Kurousa, but I could be wrong. They're just darling.

It hadn't occured to me until Monday, but they've discontinued Pochacco. ;____; I used to have tons of Pochacco stuff.

(Sorry, I somehow missed this comment.)

No... I hadn't heard of them, but they're adorable. I googled, and Kurousa doesn't look as kuroi as named. Pochacco was another favourite of mine. I knew a lot of people (girls especially) who loved Pochacco. Actually, I don't think I could ever just settle on one anymore.

Maybe they'll be able to bring it back years down the road... and start a new group of fandom. Kind of like a '20th anniversary' celebration. That type of sale pitch seems to work well.
