*is about to be caught up with the flist for the first time in two weeks* Heya sis! how's life treating you? Job-seeking DOOM? Whyyyyyy??

I love the drawing! the details of the coloring really make it for me, like the steps on the sand and the hilly background and the moment where the sky meets the sea.. so pretty! watercolors? or digital coloring? Lois hair looks great and teheee! are those coral toenails I spot? *grins* Very adorable!

Hope everything is okay on your side of the crazy life, I still owe mail, but I think I have caught up with the comments side of it all! hurray! Lol, I found your comments in Jen's latest 36Views story and I stared at it thinking '...but I haven't commented on it...' Damn you! you word my thoughts better than I even can, lol, I am tempted to just post beneath you and say nod along! X)

Job-seeking DOOM? Whyyyyyy??

Well, the job-seeking part isn't really doom, lol. I technically already have a post-graduation job offer from my current boss, but I figured I should look around to see what my other options are, so I'm applying to a few other places as well. But trying to find the time to apply to anywhere at all is just ... there is no time! lol ... So I guess it's only doom because it's one more thing on my to-do list and my to-do list is already going to break under the weight of everything that's on it ...

watercolors? or digital coloring? Watercolors! I have yet to figure out how to digitally color anything. I'd love to, but technology also loves to spite me, so I'm sure it would take me like, a week just to figure out how to do a simple fill with the paint bucket tool or whatever, lol. So that's something to be saved for when I have lots and lots of free time, i.e. when I'm 60 and I retire. :-P ( ... )

Aw, I love the way Jason's looking back and smiling...and Lois looks so cozy and cuddled...

And to the rest of my f-list ... I have not forsaken you! Eeee ...

I hate being behind...staying up is like a full-time job, darn it all to heck! I can barely do it even on vacation...one meeting a day and that toasts me. :)

I felt a little weird drawing that, lol. Realistically I think he'd probably be more like "Eww, not again ..." But OTOH, I don't know if six year olds have reached the point of being grossed out by parental affection ... so maybe not! ^-^

Anyway, thanks for commenting! *hugs*

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! *whew* (And I hope that I didn't lead to your daughter getting too freaked out, lol.) Your stories have so many wonderful scenes in them, it was hard to pick one ... but in the end, well ... it's cold in NY, and Lois and Clark's trip down under was so warm! I couldn't resist. So yeah ... happy that you approve, and it was my pleasure sharing it. *grin*

Thanks for the mention in your LJ, too. That was very thoughtful of you. :) And it was great to see that you got such an outpouring for your bday! You totally deserve it! XD
