I...I feel so terribly stupid asking you this, but I figured that I would, seeing as how I adore your icons and all. (see, here's a heart for them: ♥!) I love making icons/banners/whatevers, but I was wondering how you got the gridded effect, for example, with the FO Kuja banner. Usually I do that type of thing manually (meaning I draw each line individually) but so many people seem so fond of doing it that I'm thinking there's a more time-effective way of getting the job done. An explanation would be much, much appreciated! ^_^ (I've got both Jasc PSP and Adobe Photoshop, if that makes any difference. O.o)

Anyway, what I did on the Kuja banner was use the blinds effect in PSP. I just did it once horizontally, then again vertically. To keep it looking nice, I did it on a low setting.. I think 1 or 2 pixels? I can't remember. x_x Then after I did the blinds, (Oh yeah, forgot to mention I did them on a new layer XD) I lowered the opacity and messed with the settings a bit so it would look right.

I'm sure that made no sense. ._.; I don't explain things well. If you don't understand that, I can make a better explanation with images later. o.o

Actually that made a lot of sense! Too much sense, in fact. Thank you so much. Now I don't have to draw each line individually! ^^; ~:huggle:~
