Oh, very nicely done. I bet this poor General had bottles of Ibuprofen stashed into every nook and cranny of the SGC just so it would always be on hand; after all, one never knew when SG-1 was going to 'cause another headache. LOL And I love your #5. "Was it worth it?" "Absolutely." I don't think the SGC could have succeeded so well without Hammond. Fantastic job in paying tribute to such an honorable and compassionate man. He's a fine example of how an Air Force General can be, and you wrote him beautifully. Thank you. :) *salutes*

I always note the amazing chemistry between "our team"...but Don S. Davis and the team had some amazing chemistry between them, too!

This is lovely. Every line. The forms, the painkillers, Jacob almost laying him out flat, the pizza, the decaf...how each one becomes more poignant and cutting.
