I love your answer to 14. That's exactly how I feel, and what's weird is I still do not feel like I see enough ofthat attitude in the fandom world. Thank you for contributing.
I'm also glad Numb3rs was able to turn your thoughts around on Don/Robin, partly for the ship and partly just for proof of their excellent writing. I wasn't as pro Don/Liz, but I was similarly lukewarm about Robin (a.k.a. "Who?") and then BAM.
Yeah, I guess I'm just one of those weird people who likes to actually see the couple together, being cute, doing couple things, and not dancing around each other eternally. Relationships that actually progress and have development are my jam. :)
Numb3rs had the plus that they actually knew how to write couples after they'd gotten together, which was a big part of what won me over to Don/Robin. Also making me mentally connect Don/Robin to Rob/Star via certain dynamics/tropes. You're pretty much guaranteed to win me aboard a ship if you can get my brain making mental comparisons to other OTPs.
