You know, one of the things I enjoy about Castle is watching Nathan Fillion play someone who is decidedly NOT a bad ass! I certainly love him as a bad ass too, but it's nice to see a hero who is more believable (aside from the whole premise of a writer being a homicide detective's partner!).

Slaughter scared the crap out of Castle!

He did, didn't he :-) Nathan is great - a believable hardass Captaain Mal and a goofy Rick Castle and... Well... Hilarity in both forms.
