It is heavy on block quotes from G K Chesterton, as well as heavy on the theology/religion, but like I said it comes at from an angle I hadn't consider before.I guess that is why I like it.
the dynamic of Sam&Dean has fluctuated and evolved so much over the years, but so often returns to their gut reactions. I guess however much ramblin-rosie's point was valid, that Dean had moved beyond the lies and distrust. But you also can't blame him. The Winchester's world is rarely black and white these days.

As a trope, the whole Sam empathises with the monsters and Dean takes the hard line is getting very old.
